Job Title: America Sales Director
Base in: Chicago, IL, U.S.
Report to: International Sales Director (based in China)
Subordinates: Sales Manager(s) Application Engineer(s)
TRAVELLING: Mainly in U.S.
1/ Account for sales revenue and P&L in the U.S.
2/ Identify business opportunities, set business direction and work closely with HQ overseas sales team in China; develop business plan and budgets to accomplish target.
3/ Analyze market size, potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
4/ Enhance business relations with customer and sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction and market share.
5/ Explore and develop new applications with existing and new customer.
6/ Conduct competitive analysis and promotional strategy.
7/ Prepare periodic sales plans and / or projections and implementation methods.
8/ Report on key performance measures, actions and specific issues to HQ on a regular basis.
9/ The Sales Director shall also assist the International Sales Director to organize the America sales team to an appropriate scale..
1/ Understand company product lines and communicate with people from a different culture.
2/ Conduct market mapping to understand market size, addressable potential and competitor analysis, including segmentation and pricing.
3/ Develop appropriate go-to-market (distribution) strategy including selection criteria
Appropriate recognition and career development will be accorded to talents with proven ability for bigger roles.
1/ Minimum 5 year’s experiences in similar capacity (sales director/executive/manager) with proven track record in executing sales targets.
2/ Prior experience and knowledge in industrial fans or HVAC/refrigeration parts such as electric motors, fans, compressors, valves or heat exchangers business is a MUST.
3/ Successful new customer development experience is a MUST.
4/ Strong leadership qualities. Successful team recruiting and training experience is a PLUS.
5/ Strong market sensitivity, good business sense as well as communication and negotiation skills.
6/ Proficient in verbal and written English with good communication and presentation skills. Native American is preferred.
7/ Former employment with well-known fan, motor or HVACR brands such as Ziehl-Abegg, EBM-papst, Rosenberg, SPAL automotive, Nidec, Regal Beloit, Carrier is a PLUS.
